Welcome to the 2006- 2007 NDBA Draft Headquarters, Live Drafts part Deux. We'll take the lessons learned from last season Live Draft experiment and hopefully improve. From this page you will be able to link to everything you need on this site to prepare and perform the draft.

Here are some important dates for this years draft:
Conference / Draft Pick selection deadline: October 16th 10:00 PM
Draft Preference Sheets Go On-line: October 17th AM
North Draft: TBD

South Draft: TBD
East Draft: TBD
West Draft: TBD

Draft Preference Sheets will stay available up until about 10 minutes prior to the start of your draft.

Draft Results will be available as the draft progresses. Yes, you can check draft results of other conferences as the draft is in progress. No, you can not go to another conferences draft room. For those of you "looking in" on a draft via the Draft Monitor link for another conference, please don't wear out your refresh button. Check every few minutes or so... the effect of the live draft script on the server last year were not so good. I believe I have worked out the bug that crashed the server but let's not push it. If there is a problem during the draft here are the lines of communication, in order of preference.
  1. AOL IM, I will have it on during the draft. We will start a Chat and invite owners from that conf. into it before the draft. Plenty of room for smack talking there, plus I can get ahold of everyone in one shot.
  2. The NDBA message board, I will post alerts there IF something goes wrong and the site is still functional. I will post problems there for the owners in the draft who don't have AOL IM (it's free and anyone can use it so come on).
  3. Lastly, e-mail.. this is not the preferred method for obvious reasons. Most of all I have enough to do during the draft, worrying about constantly checking my e-mail will not rank high on the list. That said, e-mail is the one thing that is pretty dependable and is not reliant on the site being functional.

About Draft Preference Sheets:
All the players listed on the sheets are from the NBA.com site using the team roster links.. yes it takes a while, and many of the players on these lists (that were on NBA team rosters in early Oct.) will not be there opening day. Some players that are on your draft lists may not be on an NBA roster now...the NBA rosters are very fat this time of year and cuts will be forth coming as we all know. Rank your players in the order you deem correct. This year there is a default Bonus list. Once you get your 5 positions set close to where you want them, initialize your Bonus list to match your preferences using the "Grab My Top 30" button below. Once the draft sheets are disabled, right before the actual draft, the button will no longer be enabled. For more about how to do your preference sheets see the Draft F.A.Q. page.

The Button below is located out here so that you don't get click crazy while in the preference sheet area. REMEMBER clicking on this resets your top 150 bonus players.
